There is no ""ticking"" sound which are common in quartz movement , but unlike the cheap clocks this is dead silent. Regarding the accuracy, I haven't found any issues. The clock remains accurate, that is, of course until it runs out of battery.

Hello ufee,Clock looks very classic with big number font & hands.Even visible in night when room is dim lighted.Thanks for Japanese hand sweep mechanism which is silent with no Tick Tick sound.Thanks for adding this product.
